The majority of people don’t have the luxury to sit around and drink to relieve stress. People have responsibilities such as driving, working, taking care of children. You may think in the moment that this is helping you since you are indeed getting work done, however, you are just hurting yourself more than helping. Instead, give yourself at least thirty minutes to an hour of alone time. During this alone time, simply just rest. Developing and sticking to this habit daily will truly help decrease your stress levels.

  1. Don’t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew

It is okay to say no sometimes! Do not feel pressured to constantly do everything that everyone always asks of you. In order for you to ensure your own well being, you have to get used to saying no when your plate is already full. Extra, unnecessary amounts of stress can easily accumulate when this happens. Take care of yourself and your own health first, and then add things to your schedule.
