With spring upon us we will soon get into the spring cleaning spirit where we update our look, clean out our closet and get ready for the new season. I am not exactly sure what it is about this time of the year but I always want to buy something new.

Shop around for the lowest price. I know everyone always says to shop around and compare prices between stores. This is a great way to make sure you always find the best deal. Shopping around also means walk around the store to find deals and search for the sale section on a website. Sometimes items are on displayed in unusual places. If you are looking to find something on sale look beyond its normal place in the store.

Get want you want for free. Coupons and giveaways are a great way to get things for free. Two for one coupons are my fave and if the item is already on sale it makes the purchase even better. My mom spends her Saturday afternoons driving around to three different grocery stores so she can get all the items on her list on sale. The same thing can be true for beauty products. Don’t be afraid to shop the sale section. It’s a guilt free way of getting what you want.

Jump on a good deal. Don’t contemplate it because when you decide to buy it the odds are it probably won’t be on sale anymore. This week I purchased a haircut and a one hour massage through Groupon. This Saturday I am spending a day at the spa and it only cost me $70 thanks to deal websites. Whenever I get restless and want to spend a day relaxing at a spa or update my look with a day at the salon I always check deal websites to get a discount on the services I need.

Don’t be afraid to change. I know we all have our fave products and brands but letting go can save you a lot of money. If you are stuck on one brand you may buy it even when it’s not on sale. Making a change to a different brand that is on sale can help save a lot of money. I have my fave products but I will drop my loyalty like a hot potato to save a few bucks.
