Quantcast

Em says farewell (but B&B is still here to stay!)

bon voyageYep, you read that right…my time with B&B is ending. :(

I’ve been honored to be your resident Blonde for almost a year and a half now, and I’ve loved getting to know all of you and sharing ideas on money, health, family, and everything in between. B&B readers are an amazing community, and I’ll miss sharing pieces of my life with you all and getting your great feedback in return.

But, life is about changes, and it’s time for me to lay down my pen (err, keyboard?) and go off towards some other adventures. So I wanted to take a minute today to thank you all for being so awesome and to welcome your new B&B leader.

What I’ll be up to

As I mentioned (or, rather, freaked out about!) in my last post, The Hubby and I have decided it’s time to get started on starting a family. The Hubby also has some exciting opportunities on the work front, so our lives are going to be a bit crazy over the next several months…but in the best way possible. I see a lot of “nesting” and DIYing in our future, followed by some little feet running across our floors, other than Big Dog and Little Dog’s. :)

But you can’t get rid of me that easily! I’ve come to consider you all my friends, and I’ll be watching to see where B&B goes from here and maybe even popping into the comments now and then (if you’ll have me). You guys are the best, and I’d write more about it if I wasn’t already starting to get misty as I write this. (Is it silly to get misty over a blog? I don’t care!)

Your new fearless leader

I’m excited to announce that you’ll be in great hands from here on out. The new blogger at the wheel of B&B is none other than the lovely TK, who’s actually been a long-time reader of the blog since the beginning. How cool is that? I can’t wait to see what she has to say and I know you’ll all love her.

So…

Join me in welcoming TK to the blog! Let’s give her some B&B love! And, from the bottom of my Blonde little heart, it’s been so much fun writing for you guys. Take care of yourselves!

~Heart,

Em

  4. Hello all you lovely Blonde & Balanced friends. I am very sad to see EM go because I have loved reading all about her life over the past year and a half. But I know she will keep in touch and I wish her the best of luck in love, life, health, family and of course money. I look forward to getting to know you all and sharing my life experiences with you – and boy do I have a lot to tell you. Have a great weekend.
