One Balanced Blog Roundup: It’s Been A Good Week

This has been a GREAT week for Blonde & Balanced!  As you know, last week I was featured on LifeHacker, and that was AWESOME.

But, this I was featured a couple more times, most notably on one of my FAVORITE blogs, Consumerism Commentary!  I couldn’t believe it last night when I saw that Flexo had included me in his list of 7 Independent Personal Finance Blogs You Can Trust.  I was in some awesome company, too, so that makes it even more of an honor.

In addition, I was featured on Consumerist again, but not because of a post I had written (I know, shocker).  I was quoted as a CPA!  Whoa!  (Note that I’m not giving professional advice in the article … just spewing out random tax facts.  I don’t want to get sued or anything. ;) )

I feel like a celebrity!  Here’s are the links that mentioned Blonde & Balanced this week:

Here are some links I found interesting over the past couple weeks.  Enjoy!

Blonde & Balanced featured on LifeHacker!

On Tuesday morning, I received a lovely surprise: my blog had been linked to by Consumerist.  Any blogger knows that a link from the Consumerist is a good traffic day (but, sometimes, not such a great comment day…).

But on Wednesday morning, my traffic starting BLOWING UP.

Like a gift from the blogging gods, my little bloggie had been featured on LIFEHACKER!!!!!!!!

*insert blogger celebration complete with a frenzy of tweets, obsessive checks of increasing page views/adsense revenue, and nerdy blogger dance around your blogging desk*  :)

So, here’s  a little illustration of what has happened to my traffic over the past few days:

Consumerist Traffic LifeHacker Traffic

Ha ha, look how pitiful my regular traffic looks in comparison.  I swear I get more than 1 page view per day.  ;)

Oh, and before I forget, here’s the link to the LifeHacker article!

P.S. If you got a little bump in traffic from my site over the past couple days, now you know why.  There were a few lucky links that got a lot of extra traffic.
